Target Information

Prostaglandin D2 is a major prostaglandin produced by mast cells. It binds to the receptors PTGDR (DP1) and CRTH2 (DP2). It plays a significant role in the pathophysiology of asthma and is critical to the development of allergic diseases such as asthma. It also has functions in allergic diseases, vasodilation and hair growth Inhibition. It is involved in various physiological processes, including bronchoconstriction, neuromodulation, and anti-antithrombin effects.
