Target Information

Tumor necrosis factor receptor 1 (TNFR1), also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 1A (TNFRSF1A) and CD120a, is a ubiquitous membrane receptor that binds tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFα). Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 1A is encoded by the TNFRSF1A gene in pigs. This gene encodes a member of the TNF receptor superfamily of proteins. It also functions as a novel predictive factor for radiotherapy-induced oral mucositis in patients with head and neck cancer.
