Target Information

Bovine myosin-1 (MYH1) is a motor protein that plays a critical role in muscle contraction and movement in cattle. It is essential for the proper functioning of the musculoskeletal system. In veterinary medicine, abnormalities in MYH1 can lead to muscular disorders, making it significant for genetic screening and diagnostics. It is also crucial for meat quality assessment in the livestock industry.
