Target Information
Protein S100-A2, which is also known as S100 calcium-binding protein A2 (S100A2), is encoded by the S100A2 gene in cattle. S100A2 belongs to the S100 family of proteins and contains two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. Initially isolated from bovine lung tissue, it was later discovered in human mammary epithelial cells. S100A2 might be responsible for the preservation of immune-suppressive status in pancreatic cancer microenvironment.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store for 4 weeks at 2-8°C, for 12 months at -80°C.

User Note
- Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Avoid mixing by vortexing or pipetting. Reconstitute in 10 mM PBS (pH 7.4) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Aliquote the reconstituted solution to minimise freeze-thaw cycles.
