Target Information
Protein S100-A7, also known as psoriasin, is a member of the S100 family of proteins. S100A7 contains two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. It is involved in the regulation of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. Bovine Protein S100-A7 is encoded by the S100A7 gene in cattle. It is a Ca-binding antimicrobial protein. The presence of S100A7 in the amniotic fluid of pregnant women suggests possible immunobiological effects during foetal development.

User Note
- Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Avoid mixing by vortexing or pipetting. Reconstitute in 10 mM PBS (pH 7.4) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Aliquote the reconstituted solution to minimise freeze-thaw cycles.
