Target Information
Chicken calmodulin 1 (phosphorylase kinase, delta) (CALM1) is a multifunctional calcium-binding protein that plays a central role in intracellular calcium signaling in chickens. It mediates the control of numerous enzymes, ion channels, and other proteins through calcium binding, thereby regulating various cellular processes such as cell growth, the cell cycle, signal transduction, and the synthesis and release of neurotransmitters.
