Target Information

Equine angiogenin is a protein that belongs to the ribonuclease superfamily and plays a significant role in angiogenesis, the process of forming new blood vessels. It is secreted by various cell types and has been implicated in the promotion of endothelial cell proliferation and migration, which are essential for vascularization during development and wound healing. Angiogenin is also involved in the tumor microenvironment, where it can promote tumor development and angiogenesis, making it a potential therapeutic target for certain cancers.
