Target Information

The H10 subtype of avian influenza virus (AIV) remains a persistent threat to both avian and human populations. Recently, fatal human cases of H10N3 and H10N8 infections have garnered significant public concern. When compared to the H10N8 virus (A/chicken/Jiangxi/102/2013), H10N3 viruses demonstrate greater thermostability, increased release from erythrocytes, and higher accumulation of hemagglutinin (HA) protein.
