Target Information

Mycoplasma pneumoniae P30 adhesin is a surface adhesion protein of Mycoplasma pneumoniae, with a molecular weight of about 30kDa. The P30 protein plays a crucial role in bacterial attachment and invasion of host cells, binding to sugar molecules on the host cell surface to promote bacterial colonization and spread. The P30 protein is also an important antigen that induces the host's immune response during Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection.
