Target Information

The HLA class II histocompatibility antigen, DR alpha chain, is a component of the MHC class II molecule, which is crucial for antigen presentation. When paired with the beta chain HLA-DRB, it presents antigenic peptides on the surface of professional antigen-presenting cells (APCs). This complex is then recognized by the alpha-beta T cell receptors (TCRs) on HLA-DR-restricted CD4-positive T cells.
