Target Information

The Interleukin 1 receptor antagonist in pigs is encoded by the IL1RN gene. This protein is part of the IL-1 family, sharing similarities in its amino acid sequence with both IL-1 beta and IL-1 alpha. It functions by inhibiting IL-1 from transmitting signals to the cell.

  1. Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Avoid mixing by vortexing or pipetting. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1 % BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Aliquote the reconstituted solution to minimise freeze-thaw cycles.
