Target Information

Sheep somatoliberin (GHRH), also known as growth hormone-releasing hormone, is a neuropeptide that plays a critical role in the endocrine system of sheep. It is produced in the hypothalamus and stimulates the anterior pituitary gland to secrete growth hormone (GH), which is essential for growth, cell reproduction, and cell regeneration in sheep. GHRH also influences other physiological processes, including stress response and metabolism. In sheep, disruptions in GHRH signaling can lead to abnormalities in growth and development.
