Target Information
Swine superoxide dismutase 1 (SOD1) is an essential antioxidant enzyme found in swine, responsible for neutralizing superoxide radicals, thereby protecting cells from oxidative damage. It plays a critical role in cellular defense mechanisms against reactive oxygen species (ROS) and is involved in processes such as axonal transport, inflammation regulation, and phagocytosis.
