Moreover, recent research has identified novel calcium-binding peptides from Bovine bone collagen hydrolysates, such as Glu-Tyr-Gly, which exhibit superior binding affinities to the calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) and promote intestinal calcium absorption, suggesting their potential as natural calcium carriers with bioactivity.
