Target Information

Swine C-reactive protein (CRP) is an acute phase protein produced by the liver in response to inflammation or tissue damage. It is a sensitive marker for systemic inflammation and is used to assess the health status of pigs. CRP levels increase rapidly in response to infections, which makes it a valuable tool for monitoring the general state of health in swine.
