Target Information
Inhibin Beta A Chain is encoded by the INHBA gene in pigs. This gene has previously been mapped to chromosome 18. Inhibins are gonadal glycoproteins of the transforming growth factor-β superfamily that act to suppress pituitary follicle-stimulating hormone and consist of a common α subunit linked by disulfide bonds to either a βA or βB subunit.
