Target Information

Bovine Profilin-1 is encoded by the PFN1 gene in cattle. PFN1 belongs to the profilin family and is a ubiquitous actin monomer-binding protein. It plays a crucial role in regulating actin polymerization in response to extracellular signals. It has been identified as an actin-associated protein which is critically important to cellular function. PFN1 influences various cellular activities, including cell motility, survival, and membrane trafficking.
