Target Information
Bovine Inorganic Pyrophosphatase is encoded by the PPA1 gene in cattle. PPA1 is a ubiquitous metal-dependent enzyme that provides thermodynamic energy for essential biosynthetic reactions such as DNA, RNA, protein and polysaccharide synthesis. It can catalyze the hydrolysis of inorganic pyrophosphate (PPi) into two orthophosphates (Pi). This reaction is highly exergonic and helps drive other metabolic reactions to completion.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with gel ice packs. It is recommended to store at 2-8 °C (Up to 6 months).
Documents
The product is for research use only.
