Target Information

Glucosidase 2 Subunit Beta (GluIIβ), also known as Liver-Specific Zona Pellucida Domain-Containing Protein 3 (LZP), is a protein encoded by the PRKCSH gene in cattle. GluIIβ is a regulatory subunit of glucosidase II. It cleaves the innermost alpha-1,3-linked glucose residues from the Glc(2)Man(9)GlcNAc(2) oligosaccharide precursor of immature glycoproteins in the endoplasmic reticulum. Vacuolar system-associated protein-60 constitutes the bovine ortholog of the human "protein kinase C substrate 80K-H" (PRKCSH or 80K-H).
