Target Information

Diethylstilbestrol (DES) is a seldom-used nonsteroidal estrogen medication that acts as an agonist of the estrogen receptors. In veterinary medicine, DES is used to induce abortion in dogs and to manage urinary incontinence in spayed female dogs.
