Target Information

Nicarbazine is extensively used as a broad-spectrum medication to combat chicken coccidiosis. The international community has established regulations and requirements concerning the residue limits of nicarbazine metabolites in chickens. Typically administered on its own for treatment, it has been reported that nicarbazine, when combined with salinomycin, provides enhanced therapeutic effects. It is also used as a contraceptive for population control of Canada geese and feral pigeons.
