Target Information

Propranolol is a non-selective beta blocker used to treat irregular heartbeats. It is administered to dogs and cats for managing abnormal heart rhythms. Additionally, propranolol is occasionally combined with other medications to lower excessively high blood pressure caused by adrenal gland tumors known as phaeochromocytomas.
