Target Information

Chlorpromazine, an antipsychotic medication, is mainly prescribed for treating psychotic disorders like schizophrenia. In veterinary medicine, it has largely been replaced by acepromazine. Chlorpromazine is occasionally used illicitly in animal husbandry and fisheries to enhance animal growth and decrease mortality during transport.
