Target Information

Ceftiofur, a cephalosporin-type antibiotic, is resistant to beta-lactamase, the enzyme responsible for antibiotic resistance. It effectively targets both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Ceftiofur sodium is utilized in cattle and pigs to treat and control infections caused by susceptible pathogens, and it is also employed in other animals.
