Target Information

Ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone, is extensively utilized in antimicrobial treatment. It works by inhibiting bacterial gyrase, and at high concentrations in vitro, it can also affect the functionally related eukaryotic topoisomerase-II. According to research, the oral absorption of ciprofloxacin is variable and inconsistent, and tends to be lower in some dogs compared to humans.
