Target Information

Oxytetracycline is a tetracycline antibiotic with broad-spectrum activity, functioning by disrupting bacterial protein synthesis, which hinders bacterial growth and reproduction. It is employed to treat respiratory disorders in livestock. The antibiotic is partially absorbed in the animal's gastrointestinal tract, with the unabsorbed portion being excreted in manure.
