Target Information

Metronidazole is both an antibiotic and an antiprotozoal medication. It's frequently prescribed for dogs to address infections and inflammatory conditions leading to diarrhea. Additionally, it's used to treat systemic and gastrointestinal clostridial infections in horses. In the aquarium hobby, metronidazole is applied to ornamental fish and is also employed as a broad-spectrum treatment for bacterial and protozoan infections in reptiles and amphibians.
