Target Information

Bovine CD80, also known as B7-1, is a co-stimulatory molecule expressed on the surface of antigen-presenting cells such as dendritic cells, activated macrophages, and activated B cells. It plays a crucial role in T cell activation by interacting with the T cell receptor CD28 and the inhibitory receptor CTLA-4 (CD152) on T cells. This interaction provides the necessary co-stimulatory signals for T cell proliferation and differentiation, enhancing the immune response.
