Target Information
Canine interleukin 2 receptor alpha (IL-2Rα), also known as CD25, is a subunit of the high-affinity IL-2 receptor complex, which is essential for T cell activation and proliferation. This receptor is primarily expressed on activated T cells and regulatory T cells (Tregs), where it plays a crucial role in immune regulation. The IL-2 receptor consists of three subunits-α (IL-2Rα), β (IL-2Rβ), and γ (IL-2Rγ)-with IL-2Rα being responsible for initial IL-2 binding, which then facilitates the formation of the high-affinity receptor complex.
