Target Information

Porcine anterior gradient 2 (pAGR2) is a protein that belongs to the anterior gradient (AGR) family, which is involved in multiple cellular processes, including cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation. pAGR2 is highly expressed in the gastrointestinal tract and has been implicated in the regulation of mucosal integrity and the response to inflammatory stimuli. This protein is thought to play a role in the epithelial barrier function, contributing to the maintenance of tissue homeostasis and the defense against pathogens. pAGR2 may also be involved in the cellular response to stress, including oxidative stress, and has been associated with the regulation of apoptosis.
