Mouse Anti-Porcine Lambda Light Chain (Lambda-IgLC) Monoclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for porcine lambda light chain. It can be applied to ELISA, IHC and FCM assays of porcine lambda light chain.
Specifications
Target Information
Porcine lambda light chain is a component of immunoglobulins, specifically found in B cells and plasma cells, where it pairs with heavy chains to form functional antibodies. This light chain is encoded by the immunoglobulin lambda (IGL) locus, which is characterized by a limited number of functional variable (V) and joining (J) genes. In pigs, the lambda light chain locus contains 23 V genes and 4 J genes, but only a subset of these genes are functional. The lambda light chain plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response by contributing to the diversity of the antibody repertoire. It is involved in antigen recognition and binding, facilitating the neutralization of pathogens and the activation of immune responses.
