Target Information
Cluster of differentiation 25 (CD25) or interleukin 2 receptor alpha (IL2RA), is an immunodeficiency disorder associated with mutations in the interleukin 2 receptor alpha (CD25) gene (IL2RA). CD25 plays an important role in T cell proliferation, activation induced cell death and the actions of both regulatory (Treg) and effector (Teff) T cells. Swine CD25 immunoprecipitates a protein of ~65-70 kDa from activated lymphocyte preparations.
