Target Information

Colony stimulating factor 1, also known as macrophage colony-stimulating factor 1, is encoded by the CSF1 gene in pigs. Research showed that although dermal injection of CSF1 increased the local abundance of macrophages in the skin, this did not affect susceptibility to intradermal Trypanosoma brucei infection.
