Bovine cathepsin D (CTSD) is a lysosomal aspartyl protease involved in proteolytic degradation, cell invasion, and apoptosis. It is synthesized as a 52-kDa precursor and processed into an active form composed of a 34-kDa heavy chain and a 14-kDa light chain. Cathepsin D is ubiquitously expressed and plays a role in various biological processes, including the pathogenesis of diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
