Target Information
Canine bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP-2) is a potent osteoinductive growth factor that plays a critical role in bone regeneration and healing in dogs. It is used to stimulate bone formation in various orthopedic applications, including the treatment of nonunion fractures , enhancement of tendon-to-bone healing , and promotion of peri-implant bone defect healing. BMP-2 has been effectively delivered using different methods, such as direct incorporation into calcium phosphate grafts , and has shown to accelerate bone regeneration in canine models.
