Target Information
Bovine cathepsin S (CTSS) is a lysosomal cysteine protease that plays a significant role in immune response and antigen presentation. It is involved in the processing of proteins within the lysosome and contributes to the activation of immune cells. CTSS is also implicated in neuronal activation and synaptic regulation, with potential roles in cognitive function and neurodegenerative diseases.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with dry ice. It is recommended to aliquot as needed and store at -80°C upon receipt. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4°C for 1 week, at < -80°C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
