Target Information
In bovines, low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III-A (FCGR3A) is an important immune molecule expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and natural killer (NK) cells. FCGR3A is involved in antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), where it recognizes and binds the Fc segment of IgG antibodies to activate NK cells for the elimination of pathogens or tumor cells. Additionally, FCGR3A may also regulate inflammatory responses and immune cell activation in the bovine immune system.
