Target Information
Bovine NADPH:adrenodoxin reductase (ANXA4) is an essential protein in the electron transport chain of the mitochondrial steroidogenic system. It facilitates the transfer of electrons from NADPH to cytochrome P450 enzymes, which are vital for steroid hormone synthesis. In cattle, this protein plays a critical role in adrenal cortex function, enabling the production of hormones such as cortisol. The efficient electron transfer provided by adrenodoxin reductase supports various physiological processes, including the stress response and reproductive functions.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with dry ice. It is recommended to aliquot as needed and store at -80°C upon receipt. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4°C for 1 week, at < -80°C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
