Target Information
Macrophage Inflammatory Proteins (MIPs) are part of the chemokine family, which are chemotactic cytokines. MIP-3β (CCL19) is produced by stromal cells in the T-cell zones of secondary lymphoid organs and binds to the CCR7 receptor. This interaction attracts mature dendritic cells to the lymph nodes. Additionally, MIP-3β is produced by dendritic cells and also attracts naive T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes, facilitating their homing to the lymph nodes where dendritic cells can present antigens to them.

User Note
- Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Avoid mixing by vortexing or pipetting. Reconstitute in 10 mM PBS (pH 7.4) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Do not vortex. Aliquote the reconstituted solution to minimise freeze-thaw cycles.
