Target Information

Neuregulin 1 (NRG1), initially identified as a 44-kD glycoprotein, interacts with the NEU/ERBB2 receptor tyrosine kinase, enhancing its tyrosine phosphorylation. NRG1 is encoded by the NRG1 gene in dogs and is widely distributed throughout the central and peripheral nervous systems.
