Target Information

Osteopontin (OPN) is a bone sialoprotein that facilitates osteoclast attachment to the mineralized bone matrix and acts as a bone matrix protein. Research indicates that OPN may represent a promising target for future studies on canine mammary gland tumors and prostate cancer, owing to its role in promoting cell invasion and metastasis.
