Target Information
Protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase K, encoded by the TGM1 gene in dogs, facilitates the cross-linking of proteins and the conjugation of polyamines to proteins. This enzyme plays a pivotal role in cross-linking epidermal proteins during the formation of the stratum corneum and is also involved in cell proliferation.
