Target Information

Myoglobin is encoded by the MB gene in chickens. Research showed that identical myoglobin was present in the gizzard, skeletal and probably cardiac muscles of chicken.

User Note

  1. Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Avoid mixing by vortexing or pipetting. Reconstitute in 10 mM PBS (pH 7.4) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Do not vortex. Aliquote the reconstituted solution to minimise freeze-thaw cycles.
