Target Information
Chicken platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRA) is a cell surface receptor tyrosine kinase that belongs to the PDGF receptor family. It is primarily involved in the regulation of cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation in various tissues of chickens. PDGFRA plays a significant role in tissue remodeling, wound healing, and the development of the cardiovascular and nervous systems. Upon binding with its ligand, PDGFRA activates intracellular signaling cascades that promote cell survival, migration, and the regulation of gene expression in avian species.
