Target Information

Chicken transcription factor 15 (TCF15) is a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor involved in embryonic development and cell differentiation. It regulates gene expression by binding to E-box elements, influencing mesoderm formation and cell fate determination. During chick embryogenesis, TCF15 may participate in neural tube and body axis formation, and modulate cell proliferation and apoptosis. It also likely interacts with the Wnt signaling pathway to affect cell pluripotency and differentiation potential.
