Target Information

The adenine DNA glycosylase (mutY) from Escherichia coli primarily maintains genomic stability by repairing DNA damage in the veterinary field, thereby preventing mutations. Under oxidative stress conditions, this enzyme can recognize and remove adenine that is mismatched with oxidized guanine (8-oxoG), preventing C/G to A/T transversion mutations.
