Target Information
Feline stromal cell-derived factor 1 (CXCL12) is a critical chemokine primarily involved in the migration and development of B cells. CXCL12 regulates the migration of B cells towards the Bursa of Fabricius through its receptor CXCR4, a process essential for B cell maturation and function. Studies show that CXCL12 is expressed during chicken embryonic development, particularly in the development of the Bursa of Fabricius, where the expression patterns of CXCL12 and CXCR4 are closely related to B cell migration and localization. Additionally, CXCL12 plays a role in the migration of cardiac neural crest cells and heart morphogenesis in chickens, indicating its multifaceted functions in embryonic development
