Target Information

Goat interleukin-4 (IL-4) is a key cytokine in Th2-mediated immune responses. It stimulates B-cell activation and proliferation, induces Ig class switching to produce IgG1 and IgE, and promotes Th0 to Th2 cell differentiation. IL-4 also inhibits Th1 cell activation and has immunomodulatory effects on mast cells and macrophages.
