Target Information
Sheep superoxide dismutase [Cu-Zn] is a critical antioxidant enzyme in sheep that catalyzes the conversion of superoxide radicals into oxygen and hydrogen peroxide, thereby protecting cells from oxidative damage. It plays a vital role in the immune response and maintaining overall health, especially in the context of environmental pollutants which can induce oxidative stress.
