Target Information
Swine Chromogranin-A is a major soluble protein co-stored and co-released with catecholamines, functioning as a pro-hormone by giving rise to several bioactive peptides. It plays a role in the endocrine, cardiovascular, and immune systems, affecting glucose or calcium homeostasis. In swine, Chromogranin-A is involved in the physiological processes and could be a marker for various pathological conditions.
